How Does it Work?
Nutrition Therapy + Health Coaching + Mindful Eating 

Your wellness journey will begin with a thorough health history, a look at your current eating habits and a variety of tools to get a snapshot of the strengths and weakness of all your body systems so that we can 1) uncover the root cause of your health imbalances, 2) create a customized eating plan tailored to your unique needs, designed to help you meet your wellness goals.

In order to help you meet these goals we offer a step-by-step process in which you and I become collaborative partners in a process that facilitates healthy, sustainable behavior change by encouraging you (the client) to:

  • Paint a clear, vivid picture of the life you'd like to create

  • Listen to your own inner wisdom

  • And transform your goals into small, incremental steps in the direction you'd like to go

The focus is always on your agenda and a pace of change that is right for you. As your holistic nutritional therapy practitioner, my role is to provide information, support and encouragement as well as honest feedback and accountability to keep you on track as you move toward the vibrant, healthy life you desire.  

​We may meet weekly, bi-weekly, monthly as we explore a great collection of ways to empower you to learn to love and respect yourself and to be healthy at the same time.

 Foundational Principles
  1. What you eat matters.  It really does.  But cultivating wellness does not have to be an all or nothing kind of a deal.  Permanent change happens when we make small, incremental steps in the direction we want to go. Moving toward a properly prepared, whole food diet is foundational to the healthy, vibrant life you desire.                                                                                

  2. How you eat matters.  Your relationship with food is as important as the food itself. We utilize a whole person approach that fosters awareness of one’s inner landscape.  We aim to transform your relationship with food. We teach you to cultivate attitudes of curiosity and compassion instead of judgement and self-criticism.                                                                                  

  3.  We embrace the bodies inner wisdom and recognize that when it comes to improving health, digestion is king.   Improving the health of your gastrointestinal system will have a major positive effects on your entire body, from mood, to memory, and much more!                                                       

  4. Each of us is biochemically unique and there is no magical one size fits all wellness plan.  Your plan is customized based on your unique nutritional strengths and weaknesses as well as your goals and your preferences. Bio-individual diets are now proven to lower the chance of obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and more.
